1. Summary
quickhex is designed to collect as little data as possible. There is no account system, no login, and no form on this Site that asks for your name, email address, or any other personal information. Every conversion and calculation tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript — the hex, color, text, or numeric values you type into a calculator are never sent to our servers, are not logged, and are not shared with any third party, because they never leave your device in the first place.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not collect, and the Site's tools do not transmit anywhere, the values you enter into any converter, calculator, or batch-processing box. Batch conversions, CSV exports, and the palette PDF export are generated and downloaded directly by your browser; no copy of that data passes through or is retained by us.
3. Local browser storage
The Site stores a small number of items in your browser's local storage, listed in full in ourCookie Policy: your light/dark theme choice, your local conversion history (seeYour History), and your cookie consent choice itself. All three are stored only on your own device, are never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain or using the "Clear history" / "Cookie Settings" controls on the Site. We do not use local storage, session storage, or any other on-device storage mechanism to track your activity across other sites.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site does not set any first-party or third-party tracking or advertising cookies today. OurCookie Policy lists every item actually stored in your browser, explains the consent banner and the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal we honor, and discloses in advance — for transparency — the categories of cookies that would be added if we enable analytics, advertising, or affiliate links in the future.
5. Server logs
Like virtually every website, the infrastructure that serves this Site's static files (our hosting provider) may automatically record standard technical request data as part of normal web server operation — for example, an IP address, browser user-agent string, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is standard server-log data generated by the hosting infrastructure itself, is not used by us to identify individual visitors, is not cross-referenced with any other data, and is retained only for as long as our hosting provider's own operational and security logging policies specify.
6. No third-party analytics or advertising, currently
As of the date at the top of this page, the Site does not run any third-party analytics service, advertising network, or tracking pixel. No data from your visit is shared with an advertising partner, because no advertising partner is integrated. We do not sell or share your personal information, and have never done so.
7. Legal basis for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, GDPR and UK GDPR require us to identify a legal basis under Article 6 for each type of processing. Because almost everything on this Site happens only in your own browser, most rows below describe storage that never reaches us at all:

8. Your rights under GDPR / UK GDPR
Subject to applicable exceptions, you have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (for example, if you had accepted analytics or advertising cookies after those features launch). Because the Site holds essentially no personal data about you — no account, no server-side copy of what you type, no cross-site tracking — most of these rights have little or nothing to act on in practice. If you believe we hold any personal information about you (for instance, in an email you sent us), contact us using the details in Section 13 to exercise any of these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
9. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you're a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction of it, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, to limit use of sensitive personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, and no data is shared with any advertising network today because none is integrated. Where a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is present, we treat it as a valid opt-out-of-sale/sharing preference signal automatically, without requiring a separate request.
10. Other U.S. state privacy laws
Similar consumer privacy laws in Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Texas (TDPSA), Virginia (VCDPA), and other states generally provide rights to access, correct, delete, and port your data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling in furtherance of decisions with legal effect. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a universal opt-out across all of these frameworks. In practice, since this Site does not currently perform targeted advertising, sell personal data, or run automated profiling, there is little for any opt-out signal to change today — but the mechanism is in place and active regardless.
11. Children's privacy (COPPA)
The Site is a general-audience reference tool, is not directed at children, and is not designed to appeal specifically to anyone under 13. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children, or from any visitor of any age — the Site has no account system, no forms, and does not collect personal information from any visitor in the first place. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this Site in a manner inconsistent with this policy, contact us using the details in Section 13 and we will investigate and delete it.
12. Data security
Because the Site does not operate a database of personal information, there is little personal data at rest for us to secure in the first place — the main practical safeguard is architectural: your conversion values and history are designed to never leave your device. This Site is intended to be served exclusively over HTTPS, encrypting the connection between your browser and our hosting infrastructure in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Future changes to this policy
If the Site's data practices change in the future — for example, if we introduce advertising, analytics, or any feature that transmits data to a server — we will update this Privacy Policy and ourCookie Policy in advance to describe what is collected, why, and what choices are available to you, and will update the "last updated" date accordingly. As described in our Cookie Policy, any consent choice made before such a feature exists is reset when it actually launches, so you are asked again rather than treated as having pre-consented to something new.

Because the Site does not collect or store personal information about you on our servers, there is generally no personal data of yours for us to access, correct, export, or delete on request beyond what is described above.
